ABOUT

What is God Night?

God Night is a worship gathering.

God Night invites believers to encounter God and grow in faith.

God desires our worship and God Night is the atmosphere for believers to express their worship to Him. God Night believes Jesus is the image of the invisible God and He is the door to God’s relationship. The musicians and singers will bring the sounds and songs as we align our heart and mind for a night with God. Psalm 100:4 instructs us to enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving and His courts with praise. When we follow these instructions, we will encounter the Spirit of God and He will draw near to us.

God Night preludes with a social hour. These sixty minutes are a time to dialogue with friends, connect with someone new or just unwind from the day. Social hour will set the tone with background music (sometimes a live acoustic set) while you enjoy refreshments and anticipate a night of collective worship.

The Mission

The mission of God Night is to encounter God and grow in faith. We encounter God by faith, and we grow in faith the more we encounter Him. If you desire to join with other believers and encounter God’s presence, this is what God Night is about. As we draw near to God, He will come close to us. (James 4:8) As a believer we desire to be with God, but the deeper revelation is this: God desires to have a place to meet with us. The real heartbeat of God Night is to create a place for God.

We look forward to a God Night with you.

God Night Beliefs

God Night believes Jesus is the Son of God. If we want to see God, then we look to the Son. Jesus is the exact representation of the living God. Through faith we come to know all things were created by Him and exist through Him.

The message of the Resurrection of the Dead is the power unto salvation. Jesus is the Resurrection of the Dead. His Gospel brings right standing with God. When we accept His sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of our sin, His righteousness becomes our righteousness. It is God’s desire that ALL come to the knowledge of the Truth and secure a permanent place in Heaven. Heaven and Hell exist, and God gives everyone the right to accept or reject His offer to know Him. God gives us the gift of free will and we determine what eternal position we secure. (Romans 1:18-20)

Before there was a written Word, there was the living Word. But the living Word gave His written Word to testify of Himself. God Night acknowledges He used people to pen His Words in the Bible under the inspiration of His Spirit. The Bible is a gift that reveals God and is not intended to substitute His relationship. God Night accepts ALL the Bible. If it is in the Bible, then it is true and non-negotiable. The Bible defines Truth for us so we can know the difference between life and death, separate right from wrong, and it reveals His character.

God is love and Truth. His attributes transform our life so we may have life to the fullest. God commands us to love one another, but in our love for others we cannot bend the Truth. How do we bend the Truth? When a believer begins to accept the things or behaviors that God does not accept, we start shaping the image of God into something He is not. Jesus declares that we shall know the Truth and it will set us free. (John 8:32) God desires our relationship, but God does not conform to our ways or thoughts. Instead, God calls us to repent from our sinful nature and take on His nature. God does not bend to be like us, instead we bend to be like Him. The message of the Gospel and the foundations of the Church cannot be substituted for ideologies that contradict God’s Word and distort His true nature. (Romans 12:2)

The Ministry of God Night will demonstrate an uncompromising love for the Truth and engage others to know the power of God’s Spirit. We will encourage others to live a life that is pleasing to Him and worthy of the calling to be a son or daughter of God.
